A little bit about me

My name is Sophie! I have worked professionally with children with autism and behavioral challenges for two years. One year in a school setting, the other in-home. I am passionate about helping and watching children grow and develop in encouraging, safe and warm environments and with adults who care for their well-being. In my in-home time as a behavioral health professional, a lot of my time included: making meals, playing with the children, facilitating bed time routine and clean up. I also have much of my own personal experience in house cleaning and cooking.
I enjoy crafts and facilitating activities that engage children away from screens and into meaningful and effective interactions. I deeply enjoyed my time as a behavioral health professional, as I got to play a vital role in my client and his family’s lives.. I have a heart for teaching and supporting children in their growth and development, and I love to have fun, laugh and explore!
