Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy any time with children. I love the outdoors. I have a 7 month old nephew that I spend every second I can with, and some of our favorite things to do together include, the Zoo, the Aquarium, and even days spent in the backyard with an inflatable pool. One of my favorite activities to do with children is arts and crafts, I think it's also a way children can express themselves. I always am looking forward to an adventure, but I also enjoy calm days spent watching movies and hanging out around home.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny to me is, quality time and helping children grow. I believe nanny's have an important role of a child's development, which is why I am so big on helping children grow and learn. Communication also has a huge role in being a nanny. Not only the communication between myself and the family I nanny for, but also helping a growing child with communication skills. I am committed to making a positive difference in the lives of the children I nanny.
My experience with special needs children...
I have had two positions with special needs kiddos. The first including a young boy with Autism & Aspergers. The second position I worked with another young boy who suffered from epilepsy. During this time I also gained experience and learned how to use a feeding tube, administer medicine, as well as learning how to use an Epi-Pen.
