Throughout high school, I have worked at Gilman Montessori Academy in Issaquah, WA during summers as a preschool teacher. There, I helped manage and supervise classrooms of 20+ children, including teaching their curriculum (art, science, cooking, world cultures, etc.), organizing and guiding arts & crafts projects, serving meals, cleaning and sanitizing the classroom, and putting children down for naps. I have additional experience in coaching children on after-school activities, including ballet at Pacific Northwest Ballet, cheerleading at Interlake High School’s Mini Cheer Camp, and privately teaching piano. Lastly, I regularly care for my 1- and 3- year old sisters - feeding, bathing, changing diapers, managing naps, and supervising play.
