A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Sese, and I’ve been nannying for collectively 2 full years. I’m 19, and born and raised in Portland! I’ve always been passionate about childcare type work, and am working towards a degree in Psychology to eventually become a therapist for adolescents. My first long term nannying job started about a year before COVID, and ended when COVID started in March of 2020. The family was amazing, and their (at the time) infant daughter and I grew an amazing bond over the year. I still see them often! I then took a short break and began nannying for a 8 month old little boy for about 6 months. Though those are my longest term jobs, I have experiencing working here and there with children aging up to 11. I’ve spent this summer traveling Europe, and I plan to be home at the end of August! I love being outside, doing art projects, reading, being with my cats and cooking. I have experience doing light housekeeping as well as a bit of homework help. I hope to hear from you soon!

Being able to bond with kids. I get how hard leaving a parent can be, and want to always make the transition as seamless as possible. I want the kids to feel like i’m a friend and am there for help rather than purely a rule enforcer (though I will be if have to!)
