Hello Stacey here, I’m excited to share with you my experience working with kids. I volunteered at a church for Eight years in a kids ministry, I took two years of child development, and worked at a daycare for a year and three months. I’m also a certified Medical Assistant so my passion is to help other in any way I can. I have worked with kids of all ages and I have also worked with special needs children. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Daycare/ Preschool - I worked with all ages from diapers changes and bottle feeding to helping school aged children with homework and making after school activities fun.

Church Volunteers - I volunteered for a couple of years with different ages, I absolutely loved our activity time and finding new ways to keep my class of 30 kids engaged, learning, and implementing positive experiences where ever they went.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Arts and Crafts are always fun to do.
I enjoy doing interactive learning and teaching kids skills that will continue to use as they grow up. From fire fighters to Doctors, and Chefs Dress up and role play is essential to expand a child’s mind on understanding how to properly interact with others and to spark interest in what they might desire to be when they grow up. Outdoor activities are a must in order to enjoy some fresh air and get some vitamin D along with learning about nature and how we can contribute to it.

My experience with special needs children...

I have worked with children who have different special accommodated necessities. Some children I have worked with have had Diagnosed behavioral Issues, and some with health issues as well. I have some experience with feeding tubes and working with children who have little to no mobility on all limbs . I have also learned how to work with children who need help with learning how to regulate emotions and how to properly express and explain what they are feeling without the child having to get physical in doing so.
