More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I previously worked as a Nurse Technician in Brazil, where I gained experience with health, safety, hygiene, medication procedures, and responding calmly in medical situations. This healthcare background has been especially valuable in my childcare work, including caring for infants and children with additional medical and developmental needs.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love planning fun, age-appropriate activities based on each child’s interests and developmental stage. I enjoy arts and crafts, sensory play, reading, pretend play, music, baking, puzzles, and educational games. Outdoors, I love playgrounds, nature walks, library trips, museums, playdates, and other local outings. I also enjoy creating activities that encourage independence, creativity, movement, and learning through play.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny to me is knowing that I’m helping shape kind, confident, respectful, and emotionally healthy people. I love being part of a child’s growth, teaching them values, independence, empathy, and how to navigate the world. It’s meaningful to know that the care and guidance I give today can have a positive impact on the person they become and, in a small way, on the world around them.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience caring for children with autism spectrum disorder and epilepsy, including supporting daily routines, communication, emotional regulation, safety, and individual developmental needs. I’m patient, attentive, and comfortable adapting my approach to each child while following the family’s care plan and preferences.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite parts of being a nanny is watching children grow into new stages and knowing I helped them get there. I love those little moments when a child finally learns a new skill, says something unexpectedly sweet or funny, or gets so excited to show me something they’re proud of. Those everyday moments are what make nannying so special to me.
