More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

When I was in High School I as a nanny for a family of 3 for 3 years. Then, I worked as a Swim instructor at Goldfish Swim School teaching children from 4 months-12 years old how to swim. Afterwards I served an LDS mission in Paraguay! When I came home I worked as an FSY counselor during the summer with youth from 12-18 years old! After that I worked at a Preschool for 7 months; now work at an Elementary School as a Teacher Aid during the school year!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Activities I enjoy doing with children are reading them books, and playing outside with them. Reading books to children are very important because it stimulates their speech in so many ways. This helps children to become early talkers and ensure they're on track growing. I also know that large motor skills are important of learning how to interact with other children and climbing!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny is making sure the kids are having the best time! (and the safest) I love watching them experience life for themselves and showing them the way! I feel as if that is the most rewarding part of being a nanny!

My experience with special needs children...

I used to work at Goldfish Swim School and taught children with special needs how to swim. It was very rewarding and hard. Ioved seeing their progress and rejoicing with them in their small accomplishments! I love serving others and I am more than willing to help out in any ways! During the school year I also am an Elementary Aid that helps with children with IEPs. I help them with their course work, provide tutoring, and encourage their growth! It is very rewarding watching them learn and gaining a connection with them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment has been gaining a connection and relationship with the family I helped with. I was there nanny for 3 years while the mom gained her masters and it was the best experience. I loved watching their growth, playing games with them, and serving them!
