Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Some activities I love doing with children is drawing, when I was child myself — I particularly loved to draw and doodle! So I’d absolutely adore encouraging that onto other children. Another is playing Roblox, I know a lot of kids love to play Roblox these days, I always play with my younger cousins and nephews! I also really love to play hide and seek! Or regular board games if your child is old enough. Some outdoor activities I love to do is go swimming or play with water balloons, draw with chalk, ride bikes/scooters, play tag. As a child myself, I was very outdoorsy, my mother could barely keep me inside.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is building trust with both the children and their parents. Anyone could keep a child fed or cared for a couple of hours. But children thrive when they have a consistent, dependable adult they feel safe with, and parents need to know they can leave their children in my care with complete confidence. Everything else — teaching, routines, discipline, and daily care works best when that trust is there.
