The most important part about being a nanny...
I would say the most important part about being a nanny is reliability. Families need someone who is consistent, dependable, and punctual, but also someone who genuinely cares about their children and their well-being. I think children especially benefit from knowing what to expect each day and having someone they can count on. A nanny becomes an important part of a family's routine, so being someone the family can trust and depend on is really important to me.

One of my favorite memories as a lead teacher was the days leading up to my students’ graduation. Many of them were nervous about starting kindergarten and realizing that I wouldn’t be going with them. I spent a lot of time reassuring them that they were ready and that they were going to do great. Some of them made me cards and little notes, which honestly made me cry. It was such a sweet reminder of the relationships we had built throughout the year and how much they had grown to trust and care about me.
