More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
At church, I used to help with a lot of kids all at once, and play with them so it was really nice to understand what they like to play with, and how much my creativity was useful there. Also, I was a volunteer on an elementary school in 2019. I was every week in a different classroom, so I helped with the 3/4yo, 4/5yo, 6/7yo, 8/9yo and that taught me a lot of things such as how to be even more patient in every possible situation, how to explain things in an easy way so they could understand, etc. Had a lot of special needs children there… kids with autism, ADHD, speech delays.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Indoor: Pretend to be something, or to be in a certain place like let’s pretend to be a teacher and teach the stuff animals something. Puzzles, drawing, coloring, arts and crafts holiday related, cooking, wearing costumes, tea party, Lego, yoga for kids in a YouTube channel, reading, video games, board games, slime, play with toys, healthy competitions such as “let’s dance for 15minutes, and who doesn’t stop moving, gets a prize” this way they can exercise even indoors. And of course, I’ll be doing it too. We can also build a fort, and I’m pretty good at it.
Outdoors: Im not good at sports, but I’ll try my best to play what they want to play, draw with chalks, scavenger hunting, hide and seek, some water games for the summer, backyard games, there’s a lot of possibilities

The most important part about being a nanny...
It’s to take care of a little human being that isn’t yours, but you will treat like it was your own. You have to know how to balance love and discipline. Children aren’t easy to handle, but adults aren’t either. Why do adults are more patient with adults than with children that are just learning how things work?
Is it hard? Yes, but it’s worth it.
Being a nanny is being their friend, but still putting boundaries and disciplining when needed.

I have a lot of them, but I guess it would be the huge amount of times that I received a drawing from a kid. I usually keep them with them, it’s so cute and adorable.
There was this time that my host kid saw me waiting for her at the school, she ran to me and said “what you told me about being friendly with the kid no one was talking to, it helped, now she is my best friend”. It’s just wonderful be able to teach something to a kid, and later on the kid recognizes it.
