I enjoy getting to know each child and letting their individual interests guide our activities. I believe children learn best when they are having fun, so I use everyday moments as opportunities to teach, encourage new skills, and support their developmental milestones while allowing them to be themselves.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part of being a nanny is creating a relationship where both the child and parents feel cared for. I want children to feel safe, loved, understood, and excited to spend time with me, while giving parents the peace of mind to go about their day without guilt or worry. Knowing their child is happy, safe, and being thoughtfully cared for is just as important to me as being there for the child.

I have 14 years of experience with children on the spectrum including working with developmentally delayed children as a nanny, Case Manager and Developmental Specialist.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments is when a child accomplishes something they have been working toward and suddenly realizes, “I did it!” Whether it is taking their first steps, learning a new word, or mastering a new skill, I love seeing their confidence grow. Those little moments are especially rewarding because they remind me that caregiving is not just about keeping a child safe and happy, but about being present, encouraging them, and giving them the confidence to discover what they are capable of.
