Hi I am Stephanie I am currently 19 years old i’ve grown up in Oakland my whole life and have always grown up around a lot of kids. I enjoy playing with them talking with them and understanding them as they grow. I enjoy their company and making sure they’re always having fun and feel comfortable being themselves. I remember always having a passion for teaching young kids and I think as a nanny it will give me the opportunity to grow more in understanding their needs and wants. I worked as a behavior technician for some time but due to the scheduling I decided to further my career and I believe this will help me in doing so.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

babysitting family members as well as my parents friends kids. I have worked as a behavior technician for half a year with kids who have autism it has provided me to understand kids more and what they’re wants and needs are also to care extremely well for their safety. I have loved working with kids since I could remember I don’t have an age preference. It’s more so I love being able to get the opportunity with works with amazing children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some activities I love doing with kids are playing tag, hide n seek, game board, puzzles and anything they enjoy doing. I am open minded about anything they enjoy doing. I love going to parks and walks and runs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

There are many things that matter to me when being a nanny. I think knowing your responsibilities as a baby are important. I am a strong believer that a kid should feel happy and comfortable with their nanny. It should almost feel like you’re their second mom.

My experience with special needs children...

We’re kids with Autism and I enjoyed being able to know that they were getting helped and learning and growing. I think seeing them accomplish something and learn brings an enormous smile to my face. I have always had patience for kids and have never ever felt more than happy to be with them.
