A little bit about me

Hello new family, how are you? I’m Stephanie Pereira, I am 29 years old, I’m Brazilian and I have a degree in Physical Education. I was tutor at home (16 kids) during 2 years and I taught PE at school for 4 and a half years in Brazil to children aged 2 up to high school. I moved to the USA in September 2022, being an Au Pair for the same family in NY for 2 years, where I take care of 3 beautiful children aged 5, 6 and 9 who I consider as my children. In September of 2024 I moved to MA, where I worked for 1 year with 3 kids (ages 3, 8, 10) and since January 2026, I am taking care a girl (9 years old). In September 2026 I’ll move to Charlotte.

I consider myself a responsible, respectful, loving, dedicated, creative, patient and proactive woman and would like to work for a family in which I can have the freedom to help in the education of the children to help them in their physical and social development. I love children and that is why I would like to continue working with them!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’m finishing my second year as an au pair in NY. I’m strong driver 4 years driving SUV in NY/MA with State License. I’m also graduated in Physical Education Teacher, so I used to teach kids since Pre-K until High School (for 4 year and half) in Brazil, and currently I’m volunteering at the church in the kids room! :)

I also have experience with special needs!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to play with the kids. I enjoying to play with board and card games, play at the trampoline, play sports, do arts and crafts, singing, dancing, go to the park and library and do a lot of playdates!!

The most important part about being a nanny...

For me being a nanny is not only to watch the kids, like helping to drive them to different places, but being part of the their lives, as a second mother that they can trust and be able to acting with love and to know that I can help them to grow up as a good people!

My experience with special needs children...

I had experience with special needs at school when I was teacher. I had some students with Autism and Down syndrome. Also I worked in a part time for a couple months in MA with a 5 years old girl (ASD).

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love rolling on the floor with the kids playing tickle :) and also love to play sports and play cards (specifically UNO) and when I work until late and I have to do their bed time. It’s so special have this moment and read a book to them, give them a hug and say thank you to God for the day!
