My absolute favorite part of being a nanny is the ability to be an integral part of a child's development, by demonstrating a priority for children’s safety and well being. Modeling and teaching appropriate social behaviors, and watching them grow as I am a-part of their development. By supporting and encouraging children and being able to connect on a deep level, build a safe, loving relationship and offer a stable/nurturing environment is such an honour. The fact that I am with the child for a significant amount of the day makes me realize I largely influence them and can impact their lives. It is a huge responsibility, but also an honor and a privilege.
