At the time we were in a bit of a transition, recently separated from my spouse & relocated to a new town. My girls were 7, 11, & 14 at the time. She brought a sense of normalcy & helped add stability to our new situation.
I originally hired her just to help transport the kids to & from school & events, part time. That soon transitioned into working more in the home, one on one with my girls & housekeeping as well, full time. Given the extra tasks I needed done & the size of my home I compensated her with a $20/hr payrate. She looked after my family for 3 years until my eldest graduated & we moved.
While working for me she proved to have a knack for organizing & wonderful sense of time management. Early for almost all of her scheduled shifts.
