I have 30+ years of experience in Early Childhood Education. I obtained my MS in Early Childhood Administration, my BS in Child Care Administration, and an AS in Early Childhood Education. I have experience working with infants to school-age children. My specialty is working with infants by helping them develop their skills through play and language. I am able to help with homework, carpool, and drive to after-school activities. I am at a point in my life where I am able to work with children that fits my schedule but being very flexible. I am looking for a part-time position working with children. I would consider full-time for the right match. I have been a nanny and/or babysitter in the past.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Reading, crafts, swimming, water activities go for walks, go to the park and have a picnic, watch educational shows or movie approved by parents. I also like to see what the child likes to do and participate in their play or imagination. There are so many activities to enhance their fine, gross motor, language, cognitive, developmental and social/ emotional skills.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The child and family trust and are comfortable with me. I want to enhance the learning opportunities for the child. My most important is I am not just working with a child but a FAMILY in whatever form that is for the child.

I have worked with children who have a variety of medical and diagnosed disabilities. I have worked with children who have autism, downs syndrome, ADD/ADHD, ODD, OCD, breathing and feeding tube, and many others.
