More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I spent seven years caring for critically ill children as a Patient Care Technician in a hospital's Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, working hands-on with kids from infancy through adolescence during some of their most vulnerable moments. That experience taught me to stay calm under pressure, read children's needs quickly, and offer steady reassurance to both kids and their families — a depth of care I bring into every childcare role.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love spending active, engaged time with children — whether that's walking together, swimming, or playing outdoors. I enjoy nurturing their curiosity through reading, museum visits, and trips to local farms. Baking and crafts are favorites too, giving kids a hands-on way to create and learn. Through it all, I brings genuine enthusiasm to every activity, making everyday moments feel like adventures.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I'd say the most important part of being a nanny is trust — specifically, being someone a child feels safe with and a parent feels confident leaving their child with, even when things don't go exactly as planned.
Being a stable, attentive presence the child can count on — everything else (activities, discipline, structure) is really just an expression of that.

My experience with special needs children...
My experience with special needs children comes from seven years in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Baystate Medical Center, where many patients had complex medical needs or developmental disabilities. I learned to adapt my approach for each child, paying close attention to non-verbal cues and staying calm and reassuring even in high-stress situations. I also supported families through difficult and uncertain circumstances alongside their children. That hands-on experience gives me genuine comfort and confidence caring for children who need extra support and understanding.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moments are the quiet ones — curling up with a child to read a book, the closeness of a cuddle, the simple comfort of being fully present with them. These small, tender moments are what I treasure most about caregiving. For me, it's not just about activities or routines, but about building real connection and trust with each child. That closeness is what makes the work feel meaningful to me.
