I love baking with children and allowing them to get messy while also enjoying the sensory aspect of it. I also like building projects as it requires many steps and is a fun way to let children get creative. With little ones I love tummy time and going on walks to the park or museums.

What matters most to me is that the children I care for feel loved and safe. I want them to trust me and see me as someone they can always come to for anything. I also put a lot of emphasis on making sure they learn how to handle any conflict or hardships they may face and also know how to regulate their emotions after something upsets them.

My favorite moment has to be finishing a big project with one of the boys I cared for. Seeing the excitement on his face and how happy he was that we had actually built something from his imagination is a moment that has just stuck in my mind.
