Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a CNA at a hospital where I worked with many different kinds of patients. I volunteered at 2 Bible camps and worked for 1 of them for 3 consecutive summers. I have volunteered at several churches to teach classes and watch kids. I was a games coordinator for an AWANA program for 2 years.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I am up for anything as long as it is safe, fun, and rewarding for us all. Parks, zoos, water parks, board games, homework, plays, live music, and imaginative play!
My experience with special needs children...
I am more than willing to learn how to care for anyone. I have worked mainly with the older population with things like dementia/Alzheimer’s, Autism and mental illnesses. I have cared for a person who is full care, ie. changed diapers, bathed, fed.
