"Tabitha worked as a part time nanny for my husband and I for several months during the last part of 2020. She watched my then three year old son during my work hours. Since then, she has occasionally taken care of our two children for a few hours at a time.
Tabitha has a kind and gentle demeanor. She is friendly and patient with the children; she is very reliable to arrive on time and communicates with parents. Tabitha plays with and reads to the kids and helps them clean up before we arrive home. We have appreciated her and continue to ask her to babysit when the need arises."

I taught music at a K-8 private school for two years; prior to that, I ran a successful private violin studio individually teaching twenty children ages 4 through early teens. Through teaching, I learned skills in managing behavior and tailoring my approach to help each child succeed based on their personality and background.

I enjoy reading to children, drawing and coloring together, cooking/baking together, playing games, going to the park, and backyard/outdoor activities such as water play in the summer and building snowmen in the winter. I especially enjoy helping children succeed in skills they want to learn, and I'm happy to help children with tasks such as homework and music practice.
