One of my favorite nanny moments was when I taught a 4-year-old in my care to communicate using American Sign Language (ASL). She was initially shy and struggled with verbal communication, but as we practiced together, she became more confident. One day, she signed "I love you" to her parents for the first time, and the joy and pride on her face were unforgettable. Seeing her use ASL to express herself and connect with her family was incredibly rewarding and reinforced my passion for nurturing and supporting children's development.
