The most important part about being a nanny...

One time i baby sat my two cousins (11 and 12) on a Friday. Mom went out and told me to take care of them. At first, we watched tv, but after a while, they complained and wanted to go outside. Unfortunately, it rained on that day, so going outside was a no go. I had an idea though, playing a few house games.

The first game was hide-n-seek
The second game was marco polo
The third game was the card game “uno”

I remember their smiles! I just knew they enjoyed the day, even when they wanted to go outside. Children just need a boost of imagination! And that day, i learned that having fun means creating adventures with others. I learned that i too can still have fun!
