"I feel extremely fortunate to have had Tadiwa Zingoni as our family’s au pair for two years. She cared for our three children, aged 3, 4, and 6 years, and also our newborn once I returned to work. She is always friendly, patient, kind, attentive, responsible, and respectful. She responds quickly, communicates honestly and openly, and follows any instructions thoroughly. She has a wonderful sense of humor, and her creativity and resilience makes her great at adapting to the needs and behaviors of young children, especially a “pack” like mine.
She built strong relationships with each of my children and treated them with love and respect so that they responded to her in kind. She was equally effective caring for them in the evening through a movie night and bedtime as she was getting them ready and packed and delivered to school using the family’s car in the morning.
Tadiwa was a joy to work with. Any families and children who are lucky enough to meet her I’m sure will love her as we do!"

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love love being outside and staying active whether especially when the weather is great. Some examples including being at a playground, or a gymnastics room at the gym or running around on a field, or something easy going like just taking a walk. I also enjoy doing arts and crafts indoors on a rainy day to building forts to just taking it easy and playing board games as well or reading!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny i believe is genuinely loving, having a heart and a passion for children. Being able to have their best interests at heart and actually want to make a difference in their lives for the better. To actually want to see them grow into the best version of themselves and be their cheerleader!

I am currently a lead teacher at a wonderful center, teaching children ages 12-21 months. I have worked professionally in childcare for almost 5 years, with children ranging 4 months-12 years. I have experience working with children with developmental disabilities as well as behavioral disorders. I am a strong advocate for trauma-informed care and gentle teaching, working with extra focus to create a positive environment for healthy development. I received my B.A. in Psychology from Whitworth University in 2022. My work with children thus far has been extremely rewarding and I am excited to be looking for opportunities which would allow me to continue caring for children in a very meaningful way.
