I am writing to share my extensive experience in childcare and education, which I believe aligns perfectly with the needs of your family.
My journey began at the age of 12, where I discovered my passion for nurturing and guiding young minds through nanny and babysitting roles. Over the years, I honed my skills as a tutor, providing personalized education for years. I then transitioned to being an after-school counselor, fostering a stimulating and safe environment for children beyond the classroom.
My time as a Teacher's Assistant for over a year enhanced my understanding of structured educational settings and effective collaboration with educators. I have had the privilege of working with a diverse range of children, from newborns to middle schoolers, tailoring my approach to each child's unique needs.
Thank you for considering my experience. I am eager to discuss how I can contribute to your family's well-being and growth.
Warm regards,
Tahisha

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is nurturing a child's growth and building lasting connections.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments as a nanny was when I helped the toddler I was caring for take her first steps. We were in the living room, and she had been practicing holding onto the furniture for support. Then, with a determined look on her face, she let go and took a wobbly step towards me. My heart swelled with pride as I cheered her on and caught her in my arms. It was a simple yet incredibly special moment that reminded me of the privilege of being a part of a child's milestones and growth.

Good day, I am a retired nurse. I started out as a Cardiac Care Unit Nurse and ER Nurse in 1987 to 1994 and then began my Pediatric Nursing career from 1994 until 2013, doing private duty nursing through several Nursing Agencies. I worked with special needs children and their immediate families. My duties were extremely many and multitasking was necessary. In 2013 my husband took ill and I chose to retire and care for his needs. He passed on August 29 2020. I am now available to work again, and I do not have my credentials as in CPR, or first aid certificates, but if required, I can apply and retain them. After I retired, I didn’t see a need to certify for them any longer. I raised 6 daughters and took in to my home several other girls helping the parents in need. I have kept in contact with all my extended families and can give references through them. The agency’s I worked for either no longer exist or management has changed multiple times. I am 62 yr & in excellent health
