More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
In addition to my 10 years of nannying experience, I currently work as a Student Life Coordinator at a high school, where I support, mentor, and supervise students daily. I have cared for children of various ages for families in my community, as well as for coworkers and friends. My experience includes helping with daily routines, meal preparation, educational activities, and providing a safe and nurturing environment. Through these roles, I have developed strong patience, communication, and caregiving skills that allow me to build positive relationships with children and their families.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy engaging children in creative arts and crafts, outdoor activities, educational games, reading, and imaginative play. I also enjoy helping with homework, working on age-appropriate learning activities, and encouraging children to explore their interests. For active children, I love going to parks, playing sports, and participating in fun physical activities that keep them engaged. Most importantly, I enjoy creating meaningful experiences that are both fun and supportive of a child’s growth and development.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is ensuring a child feels safe, supported, and genuinely cared for at all times. It is about building trust through consistency, patience, and clear communication with both the child and their family. Creating a structured yet nurturing environment helps children feel secure while also encouraging their growth and independence. Most importantly, it’s about being present, attentive, and responsive to each child’s individual needs.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience supporting children with special needs through my nannying work with families in my community and in my role as a Student Life Coordinator. I am comfortable assisting with daily routines, providing structure, and supporting transitions in a calm and patient way. I also have experience working alongside educators and support staff to help reinforce strategies that best support each child’s needs. My approach is always compassionate, attentive, and focused on creating a safe and encouraging environment where every child can thrive.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments has been watching children become more independent through simple, everyday routines and experiences. I love focusing on reducing screen time and instead encouraging hands-on activities, outdoor play, and exploring the world around them. It’s rewarding to see children grow more curious, confident, and engaged when they are learning through real-life experiences. Being part of those moments where they discover something new and feel proud of themselves is what makes this work so meaningful to me.

I absolutely love working with kids and being a positive part of their lives. Whether it's playing games, helping them learn new skills, celebrating their accomplishments, or simply making them smile, I truly enjoy every moment. I've had the opportunity to work with children of all ages, from infants and toddlers to older children, including those with special needs. I spent over four years working at a summer camp, creating fun and memorable experiences for kids every day, and I am currently a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Working with children is more than just a job to me—it's something I genuinely care about and am passionate about.
