Hi families!
My name is Tahnique, I’m a 24 year old female living in New York. Im originally from South Africa and started off in the Us as an Au pair. I have 4 years experience taking care of kids before I arrived to the US. The ages of the kids I have experience with ranges from 6 months to 9 years of age.
I have my BA degree majoring in fashion but also have a big love for for arts and crafts. I love playing games with the kids and bonding over their favorite things and activities to do.
I am CPR trained and first Aid trained. I have experience with disabilities ( my Host kid had Down syndrome).
I’m looking for a full time nanny position with a loving family that’s welcoming towards me. I’m available Weekdays and am flexible with the hours.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing arts and crafts with the kids, making up educational games, drawing, reading, dance time and some puzzles. When it’s nice weather outside the park is always a favorite along with kicking ball outside, bike riding, morning/afternoon walks and even some hop scotch.

My experience with special needs children...

I have looking after a non verbal kid with Down syndrome for over a year. This job included diaper changing, language training, feeding, assisting with medical treatment.
