Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I can enjoy both energetic and calm activities. If a kid is very energetic I am comfortable going outside or taking them to a park. I enjoy dancing so if a kid is interested in that I’d say a great activity we could enjoy is to make up a dance routine. I can also suggest calmer activities like board games, charades, or watch movies.

My experience with special needs children...

I have a big soft spot for people with special needs. I have two siblings with down syndrome, one of which is also nonverbal. I love them very very much and they have taught me so much. Growing up with them I’ve learned to be patient and understanding with others. At times it is difficult to understand my nonverbal brother but i’ve realized in those times he just needs somebody to be patient with him.
