Hi! My name is Taleyah, I have much experience and a great passion for working with kids. Though I did not finish the degree due to health issues, I have completed all my childhood psychology and development classes required for an English Education degree for grades 6-12. I was a student teacher for 3rd grade English, and have tutored most grades through a government program called TRIO Talent Search, where I was fortunate to help at risk student development their minds and attitudes towards learning. Encouragement to go to college was the main goal of our organization. I have babysat for all ages, from infants 6 months old to children 12 years old in my community, and was hired by the city to do so. I worked closely with social workers and parents to ensure the children were safe and happy, as well as leading activities and providing emotional support and first aid. Though I do not have a license, I have learned and sat through many trainings on CPR and overall first aid.
