The reason that I got into elementary teaching was because of my mom, she’s a secretary at an elementary school in the Independence area and she hooked me up with this after school care for kids which is called “Kids Safari”. I worked for Kids Safari for 2 years. So i have some experience with kids especially younger ones. Other than babysitting I like to play basketball and that’s another reason why I attend Rockhurst. I like to travel, eat, and meet new people. I am also very family oriented. Before college , I went to high school at Truman Highschool and played basketball there.
