My experience with special needs children...
I have experience with Autism, (ASD) , Developmental delays, G & NG tube feeding, Cerebral Palsy. I have incorporated beginner ASL with children who have not yet developed their verbal language skills.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I love looking back at all of the fun activities, adventures in nature and experiences that I have shared with kiddos. When they are excited to tell their family about our day and ask to do it again, I value those moments! That’s most rewarding.
I really love when I am able to stay in contact with those families as they grow. I still have a great relationship with most of the families I have worked with. Some families have even passed toys and clothes etc, onto my children.
