Engaging with children gives me a glimpse of a brighter world through theirs. In 2019 I completed Child Growth & Development Education & Teaching, from utero to 19 yrs old with a 4.0GPA. This curriculum credentialed & certified me to lead teach in a classroom. As a “TRADITIONAL” college student I did a nanny share for over 4 years the ages were from 4 months old to 14 yrs old. I am ADA, CPR, First Aid Certified with a clean drivers license. I do not drink alcohol of any kind nor do I smoke. I am fit & energetic for outside play & incessant child engagement. I will either create a consistent daily routine or enforce the one that you already have. I will cook, clean & do laundry. Literacy is paramount, I will read to your kids daily & take trios to the library! Your child will be in the best hands other than yours, mine. *NO COVID or booster vaccines, but I can test regularly if preferred.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a co-teacher during an internship at a preschool, from that internship I became a nanny to a some of my students. It started as covering parents for date nights. Then it turned into a nanny share as the first family’s neighbors & family entrusted me with their kiddos. I also took extra special care in raising my own son & daughter who have grown into kind, caring, young adults. They are academic prodigy graduates! Enjoying their dream careers! Thank God!! Yes I am a proud mom =)

While studying Child Growth & Development, I studied preschool classroom observation for many hours. The kiddos were energetic, creative, bright, & adorable children of all background’s & unique personalities. I loved how they all wanted to speak to me at once every time they saw me. I also studied adolescent children, & teenagers…

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy reading to children as literacy is paramount for young children to ensure high future academics. I enjoy taking them outside for stroller rides, walks through nature, playing, & teaching them pieces of every subject in fun ways, at their age & stage. Trips to the library, museums, playground parks, & the grocery store. I also enjoy singing to babies & young children, especially while rocking them to sleep for a nap, or for the night. Most importantly, I love hearing from children as they share with me what they want to do & enjoy doing; I make it all happen for them. All their favorites 😊

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny has more than one part. Primarily, to provide total care to the child. To completely & thoroughly be there in every way possible to every need of the children, & to assist the family upon request. Also, an open & welcome communicative relationship with the parents is paramount for a successful & trusting relationship. Being a nanny is an extra pair of humble hands, that will never overstep the parent's role as the primary caregivers, & decision-makers for their children. I also believe maintaining & managing the family’s home with housekeeping, GREAT cooking & baking as I am EXCELLENT in the kitchen, & handling the family’s laundry. I have superb time management skills! Handling everything under the roof of your home will be done successfully & it will be my pleasure to do so.

My experience with special needs children...

My experience with special needs was when I was studying Child Growth & Development. I supported the lead teacher in a special needs classroom. I taught, observed & engaged with the children in that classroom. I enjoyed it & I could tell that they did too by all their smiles & their responsiveness to me. Some days were a little challenging for the students depending on classroom conflicts between classmates. But, I was supportive & turned their challenging days around to redirected fun & learning days! I completed the Special Needs & Education course with an A+ 😊

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when I was taking care of a toddler & her infant brother. I was rocking & singing him to sleep & his ‘toddler’ big sister began to sing to him too =)
