Having the opportunity to Nanny and care for two brothers (Danny 11, and Timothy 9) who’s mom had past away from cancer. The boys were needing; someone’s shoulders to cry on because they did not understand life without having “both” their dad and mom, someone who’d be patience with their constant acting-out while their fragile hearts needed all the time necessary to heal because they missed their mom so much, and someone that would offer the unconditional love and support they needed when their dad couldn’t because their dad had difficulty with one of life’s biggest also-losing his wife/their mom. I shared in their grief, heart ache and deepest pain, I have had to travel that road very early in life and I understand what it’s like to need someone there when it matters the most.
