Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

For the past 4 years, I’ve worked as a preschool teacher, where I built strong connections with both the kids and their families. That role really helped me grow especially in my communication skills and ability to support early development in a warm, nurturing way. I then became an assistant teacher at an elementary school, where I focused on tutoring and helping students build confidence, strong character, and independence. On the side, I also babysit for multiple families, giving me even more hands-on experience with children of all ages!

I love doing fun and engaging activities with kids like arts and crafts, storytime, outdoor play, sensory games, music and dancing, and simple educational games.

I’ve had the privilege of working with children with special needs throughout my time in both preschool and elementary school settings. I’ve supported kids with a variety of needs including developmental delays, autism, and sensory sensitivities by creating calm, patient, and supportive environments tailored to their individual strengths. Building trust, celebrating progress, and learning how to best support each child has been one of the most rewarding parts of my experience.
