"Tanner is so caring and was so great with our baby. It was so bittersweet sating goodbye and having him start school! She is kind, nurturing, attentive, and very responsive to any requests. She was also incredibly punctual and reliable. We feel so lucky to have connected with her and still feel like she’s part of our family."

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I was a nanny for a little over a year!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love going on walks and playing outdoors with children. Some inside activities I enjoy with children are painting or finger painting, board games, scavenger hunts, (I'm really good at video games, if allowed), building LEGO, reading books, and educational games.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being a consistent, comforting presence. Earning the child’s and parents’ trust through reliability, warmth, and patience. Helping children feel secure and understood, especially in their most vulnerable moments. Being fully present and alert to ensure safety at all times. Making sound decisions when parents aren’t around. Communicating clearly and respectfully with the family. Respecting the family’s values and routines. Offering support without overstepping boundaries. Being a team player who helps create a smooth, nurturing environment.
My experience with special needs children...
I've worked with a child who has Angelman Syndrome. I've also worked with a child with Autism.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments as a nanny was the first time the baby I cared for—around 9 months old—laughed uncontrollably. We were playing peekaboo, and for some reason that day, it just clicked. He burst into this deep, belly laugh that had me laughing too. The kind of laugh that’s contagious and completely pure. He couldn’t stop giggling every time I popped out from behind the blanket. That was the first time I truly felt that bond—like he recognized me not just as a helper, but someone he felt safe and happy with. It was magic.
