A little bit about me

I am a mother of one twenty three year old daughter who I raised on my own. I've worked in the corporate world for the past twenty five years, but would like to get back to my first love which is being with children. My formal education is in Child Psychology and during the years my child was growing up I ran two day homes in my own home (which I had nannies operate while I was at work), as I was unable to find care that I found suitable for my child's needs and the things she liked to do. I am very diligent about food preparation (my daughter has Celiac Disease), I've worked with children with behavioral and attachment disorders, and those who had been through significant trauma. I love being with children, teaching them and having them teach me. I enjoy children of all ages, but toddlers do tend to be the age that I enjoy the most. I just love helping them to explore the world.
