FOR BABYSITTING: I'm happy to plan a themed evening such as cooking/baking, costumes or face painting, learning or art-based activities, etc.
FOR NANNYING: I'm a local part-time private nanny to neighboring families. My specialty is newborn/postpartum care, with a focus on safety and helping families with routine. I have current first aid/CPR training, background clearances and 10+ certifications regarding all areas of child development. I was raised in Washington DC, and attended private school. Safety and confidentiality are pillars to my service. I am a "RIE Educarer" with infants and lean on "Reggio Emilia" pedagogy with older children. Both frameworks believe children are born active in the learning process by communicating 100 different ways and our job as caregivers is to observe, encourage participation and personal development.
