More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I grew up in a big family where I was the primary caretaker of my younger brothers. Throughout middle & high school I babysat for multiple families within the Whiting community. I also worked in dialysis for a period of time, so I am well informed on CPR and first aide. I am not opposed to getting certified in either. I have a ton of experience with children and genuinely enjoy caring for them!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love teaching them to eat healthy meals and involving them in the process. I am also very active and will enjoy taking them to the park with parental consent. Creating intellectually stimulating and creative activities is also in my wheelhouse, as I am skilled in drawing and love literature and creative writing. I would love to pass that love onto children whom are interested in the creative arts!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being able to genuinely connect with the families while respecting boundaries they have set. I would never overstep in terms of parental expectations or rules. I also think being present with the children and fully engaging with them is necessary so they feel seen and heard with a safe space to play and express.
