A little bit about me

I am an empty nester and a licensed speech-language pathologist living in Colorado since 2021. I have three adult children, boy/girl twins and another son just 20 months younger than the twins. I know what it's like to be surrounded by little ones who have similar needs all at once! When I am caring for children, I love to play, foster developmental skills and of course, I provide a language rich environment. I also provide a nurturing safe environment and tend to the practicalities of childcare and all that goes with having children at home- changing bedsheets, washing mealtime dishes/ bottles, and laundering clothing.

I am flexible and diligent. Music is my first love, with creativity coming in a close second. I've worked professionally with pediatrics for years. I have also lived abroad, which has widened my worldview and brought me a particular understanding for differences in cultures. I always seek to honor parents wishes as well as honoring their diversity and values.
