Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I began my career in childcare 7 years ago by doing different babysitting jobs and volunteering at Denver Health for there Newborns in Need program throughout high school , through these experiences my passion grew. After high school I continued to pursue my goals by moving to remote Fiji to work with local children mainly under the age of 5, During this time I worked alongside other volunteers to run a early childhood center that served multiple villages in the area, I also participated in environmental and social development work and did weekly english lessons with the nearby secondary school . Once I completed my time at the school I returned to Colorado and began nannying. I spent a year being a full time nanny to a baby. Ive spent the last year as a lead infant daycare teacher, typically responsible for 10 infants at a time with a co teacher or 5 solo. I have cared for children ranging from 6 weeks to 12 years old.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love being outdoors and doing more Montessori style play. Crafts have always been one of my favorites along I love cooking/baking with kiddos as well!
