I was previously a Preschool Teacher for Childtime Learning Center in Lansing. I worked there for 4 years and only left because I moved to NYC!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I have plenty of old lesson plans that include fun games, art projects, exercises for children of all ages! I love going to the park and reading/ coming up with fun stories with the kids also!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I just want to keep the kids having fun and happy. It is important to me to be prepared for long days and trying my best to not have boring moments when I have the ability to keep their minds working and them smiling!

In my classrooms I had 3 children with special needs. I have worked with children with heart conditions, autism and adhd.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Honestly, working as a preschool teacher made for so many incredible memories, but I will never forget my second or third day on the job, I had never worked with so many kids before and honestly didn't know for sure what I was doing, I was still trying to learn names and get familiar with everyone, but one of my students came and sat with me during quiet time, plopped right down in my lap like she had known me her entire life and it just reminded me of how much I enjoy working with kids. Their blatant trust and love for people is incredible to me.
