as an elementary school teacher. I also have experience as a camp counselor at a Christian sports summer camp where I was the primary caretaker of about 9-11 girls ages 10 and 11.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love taking children to explore outside and watch as they wander about how things are made or why they work they way that they do. If it is acceptable with parents, I enjoy watching college basketball as I was a college athlete myself. I believe that children need to play and I make every effort for this to happen either at a park or in the comfort of their own homes.
The most important part about being a nanny...
is remembering how deeply parents care for their children. Children should feel adored, safe, and provided for because that is the same way I would want someone to look after my own children (when I have them one day).
