I have taken care of my little cousins for extended periods of time, baby sat for neighbors, and helped take care of the younger kids during church.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing creative activities with children and seeing what they create; like painting, drawing, and coming up with stories. I also believe encouraging their interests is important, and will always play along with their favorite games. I also love to make bracelets of rubber bands and beads, and will always make some for the kids I know. My six year old cousins favorite activity is to color paper towels to make them into blankets for her dolls, and I love to do it with her.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Is taking care of children and making sure they learn and grow while also having a safe and fun childhood. I believe that children are the future, but also that they should experience youth to the fullest.
My experience with special needs children...
My six year old cousin has autism and sensory issues, and I try to pay extra attention to what makes her upset so I can try and avoid any unnecessary stress.

I was babysitting for my neighbors and taking care of their then four year old, and she made me a finger painting that I got to keep. I still have it three years later because it was a very precious moment.
