A little bit about me

Hi!
I am a newly graduated registered nurse and am looking to babysit while I study for my boards. This process will likely take until the summer. After that, if you and I both liked our relationship, I would be very interested in continuing babysitting per diem and whenever you need me.

I am going into pediatric nursing and have proficient training in pediatric care as well as 8+ years of experience in typical nannying. If something goes array, I have a solid nursing background to ensure your child is safe. As a pediatric nurse, I am proficiently educated on the varying needs of children depending on their age & trained on how best to communicate with different pediatric age groups.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Boston Children's Hospital, 8+ years of bay area nannying experience, braid mission for foster children

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Playing ball, capture the flag, arts and crafts, hide and seek

The most important part about being a nanny...

is ensuring the kids were active during my shift! Children need constant attention and activity and, as the babysitter, it is our responsibility to ensure they go to bed tuckered out. I am always sure that I played as many games as they wanted (preferably outdoors!) and provided mental stimulation via communication, arts and crafts, or other games.

My experience with special needs children...

As a registered nurse, I am trained on how to assist in daily living activities and support developmental growth.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Playing imaginary "nerf guns" with 2 young boys while walking around the lafyayette reservior. Surely got their energy out during that trip!!

Hi! I’m a former corporate marketing professional who is excited to spend more time doing work I truly enjoy: caring for kids and helping families. I have 8 years of experience as a camp counselor and have also cared for my niece since she was a baby. I love reading, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and encouraging kids’ learning and creativity without relying on screens. I’m also happy to help with light housekeeping, meal prep, laundry, organization, and pet care. I’m hoping to find a family I can support long-term and become a reliable part of their routine.
Seleny T. - Seeking Work in San Francisco

Full-Time Nanny Available in San Francisco, CA: Seleny T.

Hello Family,

My name is Silvia Seleny and as an early childhood educator, I bring genuine vocation, empathy, and a deep commitment to respectful parenting and children's holistic development. My goal is always to help each child reach their full potential across every stage of growth, from infancy to preschool.

Eighteen months ago, I moved to San Francisco, where I began volunteering at the SOMACC Center in Yerba Buena Gardens. There, I supported immigrant families and coordinated early stimulation activities for children from birth to five, creating experiences that fostered learning, connection, and healthy development.

I currently work part-time with two families, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. My responsibilities include planning and leading age-appropriate developmental activities, reading aloud, and organizing outings to parks, museums, and libraries. I support each child's cognitive, social, and emotional growth,
