A little bit about me

From neighborhood childcare jobs to parent-child music classes to full-time PreK teaching, my work experience has centered around the well-being of children and families. During middle and high school I worked as a caregiver in my community, and in college (Northeastern U, Boston, BA Intl. Affairs and History) I took on tutoring jobs and babysitting gigs in the city. Upon graduating I worked at a K-2 afterschool program, followed by a year at the Stonybrook Preschool and four years at the Park School in Brookline as a PreK associate teacher. I also taught weekly Music Together parent-child group music classes for 4 years. Last year I moved home to the PNW and took a year of rest with my family after 11 busy years on the east coast. I’m now looking to work part-time again for a family seeking a calm and creative caregiver. I love arts, time outdoors, kitchen and home activities, and providing a peaceful environment for little ones.
