A little bit about me

I was born here in Maryland but my parents were military at the time and got stationed to San Antonio, Texas when I was 6mos old. I lived there until I was 21 and moved to Maryland in 2018. I have 9 siblings, which one of them is my twin brother. I come from a big family where we all love and look out for each other, so family means a lot to me. I am caring, responsible, loving, trusting, nurturing, helpful and outgoing. I have played basketball, soccer, ran track and am still currently playing volleyball in an adult league. I am the varsity volleyball head coach at St Andrew’s Episcopal, where practices are from 3:30-6pm. I am also the assistant coach for spring (outdoor) track as well at the school with practice times the same. I coach club volleyball for Platform Volleyball Club (PVC), where practices are typically from 8-10pm but that is subject to change once the season starts. If I am not nannying, I sub at the school doing PE for grades between Pre-K through 5th grade.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked at a In-home daycare in San Antonio, Texas for a year and two months. The ages I worked with ranged from 9 months to 5 years old. I specifically taught/worked with the ages 9 months to 3 years old.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Exercising, going to the park/playground, playing sports, coloring, reading, drawing, playing games and watching shows/movies.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Along with being there for the kids and caring about their safety, being able to connect with the kids/family. Also, keeping any information regarding the family private.

My experience with special needs children...

While working at the daycare, I had two young boys who were autistic. One whose case was mild, he was 5 and the others whose case was severe, he was 3.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When I worked for a family here in Maryland, the two young boys would always like playing games with me. Whether it was hide and seek, I spy or playing with their toys together. The young girl was comfortable enough to open up with me and trusted me. *Anything said to me was repeated to the parent(s) and the kids were aware.*

Aline R. - Seeking Work in Bethesda

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Bethesda, MD: Aline R.

My name is Aline, and I’m originally from Brazil. I have several years of experience working with children, both as an ESL teacher and a nanny. I love creating fun, educational, and supportive environments where kids feel safe, valued, and excited to learn.

I’m currently pursuing my Master’s in Criminal Justice at Boston University remotely, and I previously worked as a teacher in public schools, where I taught English to students from diverse backgrounds. That experience taught me patience, communication, and how to adapt to each child’s unique personality and needs.

I’m responsible, caring, and very organized. I enjoy cooking, keeping things tidy, and planning creative activities. I’m also comfortable helping with homework, bedtime routines, or family scheduling. I’m open to both part-time and live-in nanny positions, and I always bring a positive attitude, kindness, and reliability to the families I work with.

Francesca G. - Seeking Work in Bethesda

Part-Time Child Care Provider Available in Bethesda, MD: Francesca G.

My name is Francesca, but I can go by Fran! I’m 16 years old and a junior at Winston Churchill High School. I love hiking, cooking and animals of all sorts (and have no pet allergies). I will be attending online school this year, and have been socially distancing in a bubble with one other family. I love working with kids, and although I am not CPR certified, I do have experience with hands only CPR that I learned through my school and my mom who is certified. I currently only have a learners permit but I would have reliable transportation to and from your home. I look forward to meeting you!
