I have done a lot of childcare over the years. I babysat all through high school & in college I nannied for four different families. Since becoming a mom I have any nannied for one family and I absolutely loved it. Child Care has always been a huge passion of mine and I’ve always wanted to be a mom so taking care of children on a daily basis is something I look forward to.

Our days normally start with a trip to the park or a good walk. Since my daughter still naps we normally have a morning activity and we will do afternoon activities after naptime that would include playing inside or out in the backyard , reading books and on occasion watcha movie.

A few years ago I had the beautiful opportunity to help a family who relocated back to Houston due to cancer. Mom & Dad spend a lot of time back-and-forth to doctors appointments so I spent seven days a week 14 hours a day with this wonderful intelligent beautiful little girl. She taught me so much and I believe I am the mother I am today because of her. Like I’ve mentioned before I do you have quite a bit of experience and I’ve always been extremely comfortable around children but this little girl truly did change my life and I am forever grateful for it. There aren’t very many jobs that are as rewarding as being a caregiver or a parent.

In Turkey (2019) she began a new adventure: playing the Cajon.
Camila was selected by the percussionist of the Istanbul/Ankara Presidential Orchestra: Soner Ōzer, to study and play in his projects. Afterwards, she started playing percussion at the official Latin embassy parties/clubs in the capital of Turkey.
Today, newly arrived in America, she has played Cajon with well-known artists on the Houston scene such as: Tweed Smith (WAR band/80s), Diunna Greenleaf (Blues Music Awards Winner/Koko Taylor Award-Tradicional Blues Female), Cris Crochemore + Marcelo Naves (Blues Houston Society Duo Winner) and Keith Vivens (Jazz House of Fame).
