More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Hello! My name is Taylor, and I saw that your family may be looking for a nanny/babysitter. I wanted to reach out and introduce myself.
I’m CPR, First Aid, and Allergy Awareness certified, and I have experience with infants, toddlers, and school‑age children through private families, churches, and SitterTree. I’m reliable, patient, and very intentional about creating a safe and structured environment.
I’d love to learn more about your child’s routine and what kind of care you’re looking for. Are you still needing a nanny/babysitter?
Thank you,
Taylor

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Storytime Outside — Bring a blanket and read books under a tree; kids love the change of scenery.
• Nature Walk Conversations — Walk around the neighborhood or park and talk about what you see (birds, trees, colors).
• Cloud Watching — Lay on the grass and talk about shapes in the clouds.
• Outdoor Vocabulary Hunt — Pick a letter and find things outside that start with it.
• Question Walk — Ask fun questions while walking: “If you could be any animal today, what would you be?”
• Feelings Check‑In Outside — Ask how they feel today and why.
• Story‑Building Game — You start a story, they add the next sentence, and you go back and forth.
• Storytime With Voices — Read books using different voices for characters.
• Interactive Reading — Pause and ask questions like “What do you think happens next?”
• Picture Walk — Look at the pictures first and let the child guess the story.
• Story Building — You start a story, they add the next part.

The most important part about being a nanny...
What matters most to me as a nanny is great communication and truly connecting with the child or children I care for. I believe that strong communication builds trust, helps children feel safe, and creates a positive relationship with the family. I take the time to listen, explain things clearly, and make sure the child feels understood.
Connecting with kids is also very important to me. I enjoy talking with them, learning their personalities, and supporting them in ways that match their needs. Whether we’re reading, playing, or doing activities together, I focus on building a warm, respectful bond that helps them grow and feel confident.

My experience with special needs children...
My experience with disabilities has shaped the way I care for children. I have a few disabilities myself, and I’m involved in research projects where I work closely with people who have a wide range of disabilities. Because of this, I’ve always felt called to work with kids who have disabilities. I understand the importance of patience, communication, and meeting each child where they are. I also have hands‑on experience supporting children with special needs and creating a calm, structured environment that helps them feel safe.

I'm a caring and responsible person, and more so with kids. I help take care of my younger siblings, so I'm used to being patient, reliable, and independent. I'm still in 10th grade (moving to 11th) with a 3.8 GPA, and I'm a hard worker who learns quickly. I communicate well and take my commitments seriously. I don't have formal experience yet, but I'm ready to learn and give my best
