Activities I enjoy doing with children...

From backyard dance parties and puppet shows to park adventures and swim days, I love keeping kids active and inspired! Reading together is a daily staple — I’m known for doing all the voices. My background in musical theater means I’m always ready to put on a show, teach a song, or turn playtime into a full production. Board games, arts & crafts, and imaginative play are my go-to’s for quieter moments. I truly believe the best activities spark creativity, build confidence, and — most importantly — make kids smile!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Safety and attentiveness always come first — but what truly drives me is making every child feel seen, celebrated, and valued. My younger sister is on the spectrum and has severe ADHD. Watching her navigate a world that too often made her feel like an outsider shaped me in ways I’ll carry forever. I was lucky — things came easily for me socially — but that made me more aware, not less. I learned early that the greatest gift you can give a child isn’t a perfect activity or a spotless routine. It’s making them feel accepted exactly as they are. That belief is at the core of everything I do as a caregiver.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Watching one of my little ones take his first steps! He was only a few months old — incredibly strong, full of energy, and so observant — and within a month, that little man was walking like he owned the room. But the real win? Cracking his nap routine. He despised sleep, so I leaned into patience, observation, and a lot of trial and error until I finally found his perfect pre-nap ritual. At the time I was studying social and emotional intelligence, and being able to apply those psychological principles in real time — learning to truly read, adapt to, and connect with a child as an individual — was a turning point for me as a caregiver. It’s what drives my approach with every child I work with, regardless of age, background, or personality.
