Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I cared for older brother who has severe non verbal autism. I also helped care for my cousin with Down’s syndrome and many other complications. Along with special needs kids I have always tried to help parents with their kids. I know it can be exhausting so I always babysat for neighbors and family friends wether that be for money or not. I have always been relied on heavily both in my social groups and family to help with the kids. Kids truly are our light in this world.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love taking children to do the simple things that all around our town. I think it is very important for children to have educational and non educational fun for basic brain health. Things in nature such as the botanical gardens and desert museum build their knowledge while being fun. I also enjoy doing fun projects and crafts with kids just for entertainment and occupation that is still teaching productivity.
