I have 27 years of experience working w/both typical & children w/special needs, from infants to high school age. I’m dedicated to helping, teaching, & guiding children to achieve their growth, development, & independence. In previous years, I’ve worked as a child care teacher, a behavioral technician, a lead preschool teacher, a resource instructional assistant, a VCOE para, self-employed child care provider, & currently a Para IV at a high school. I’m a leader but also a supportive team player & always strive to do the best. I'm flexible & willing to help where needed.
One of the lessons I have learned throughout the yrs: Every day is different! What may have worked today may not always work tomorrow! But throughout it all, it's such a rewarding feeling when you know you have been a part of that child’s learning experiences & see their progression as time passes. The best part is when you get to witness that child's achievements & know that you helped be a part of that puzzle.
